How to Park and Retrieve Your Car in 3 Steps?

GVP vertical parking systems are advanced automated parking solutions that use rotating mechanisms for vertical vehicle storage. The system operates fully automatically, without requiring human presence inside the parking structure.

How to Park in 3 3 Steps:

  1. Drive your vehicle onto the parking platform.
  2. Exit the vehicle and select the “Park” option on the control panel.
  3. Collect your ticket — the system will automatically park your vehicle in an available space.

How to Retrieve Your Vehicle in 3 Steps: 3 Steps:

  1. Pay for the ticket and select the “Retrieve” option on the control panel.
  2. The system automatically brings the vehicle to the exit position.
  3. Once the process is complete, enter your vehicle and leave the parking facility.

Technology & Innovation

GRAND VERTICAL PARKING is a Polish product based on proprietary technology, developed since 2016 by GRAND’s in-house Research & Development department. GVP systems have been designed in compliance with the EU Machinery Directive and approved for operation by certified inspection authorities.

Modularity

The design allows multiple machines to be connected side-by-side or back-to-back with shared cladding and control systems.

Drive-Through Functionality

The world’s first system enabling parking access from both sides and exit without changing driving direction.

Customization

Exterior cladding can be adapted to the client’s preferences and integrated into the surrounding architecture.

Technology in Harmony with Nature

GVP parking systems are designed with environmental efficiency in mind — reducing emissions, energy consumption, and excessive land development. It is a solution that combines technological performance with environmental responsibility.

Environmental Benefits

Reduced CO₂ Emissions

Automating the parking process eliminates the need to circle around searching for parking spaces, significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Recycling & Reuse of Materials

According to analyses conducted by the Rzeszów University of Technology, up to 95% of system components can be recycled after the end of operation.

Steel Instead of Concrete — A New Direction for Urban Development

Unlike traditional concrete structures, GVP systems are built from steel — a durable, lightweight, and fully recyclable material that helps reclaim valuable urban space.

Green Facade

GVP parking structures can be equipped with green facades using living vegetation, improving urban aesthetics and microclimate.

Time for Change: From Traditional Parking to Modern Urban Solutions

GVP vertical parking systems are not only a solution to parking challenges, but also a tool for creating more sustainable and people-friendly urban spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about GRAND VERTICAL PARKING systems.

How do GVP systems increase parking capacity?

Cities are filled with cars, while space for new parking is increasingly limited. The most effective way to increase parking capacity is to build upward, which is why GVP uses the vertical dimension. In dense urban development where flat parking cannot be expanded, a vertical structure significantly increases capacity.

How many vehicles can a GVP parking system accommodate?

Grand Vertical Parking devices are available in several models, from GVP6 to GVP16, holding 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 vehicles in one machine.
System capacity can be easily scaled from a single device with several spaces to sets forming parking facilities with hundreds of spaces.
Thanks to the modular structure, the number of parking spaces can be precisely adapted to project needs and site conditions.

How long does parking and vehicle retrieval take?

Parking in the GVP system usually takes up to 1 minute. Vehicle retrieval time depends on the location of the platform with the car. If the platform is on lower levels, it takes about 1 minute; on the highest levels, it can take up to 2 minutes.

What are the size and vehicle limitations?

The GVP machine allows parking passenger cars weighing up to 2.5 tonnes and measuring up to 5.2 m long, 2.0 m wide and 2.0 m high. Grand Vertical Parking supports most popular passenger cars, SUVs and small vans.

How much does a Grand Vertical Parking system cost?

The purchase cost depends mainly on project scale, number of parking spaces, model and site conditions. Pricing is prepared individually for each project. At the client’s request, we can also deliver the full investment process in a design-and-build formula, including detailed design, construction works, machine installation and system integration with urban infrastructure. Site conditions such as foundation design and construction, power supply and administrative procedures are usually on the client side, but comprehensive support by the GVP team is available.
